Travel Ceylon Tours is run by a Sri Lankan family team in Gampaha District, 25 minutes from Bandaranaike International Airport, with decades in the island's airport travel trade.
Local in the truest sense
Most travellers meet Sri Lanka for the first time in the arrivals hall at BIA. So did we — from the other side. Our team has spent decades in the airport travel trade at BIA: meeting flights, driving visitors the length of the island, and learning exactly what makes the difference between a trip and a great one.
Travel Ceylon Tours grew out of that experience. We are not a booking portal reselling other people's services — when you message us, you're talking to the people who will actually plan your route, and the guides who will drive it. Every chauffeur guide we work with is licensed, English-speaking, and someone we'd happily send our own family with.
We keep the model simple and honest: private vehicles priced per vehicle (not per head), fixed quotes agreed on WhatsApp before you fly, and itineraries that change freely when the weather, a festival or your mood says they should. The island rewards flexibility — our job is to make that effortless.
Our cars are stationed near Katunayake, 25 minutes from arrivals. When your flight lands at 2am, that matters.
